Whenever I photograph parties, conventions or other events I always try to hand out my business cards to the people I photograph and let them know that Flickr is where the photos will be posted.

If you are reading this because I met you at an event, party or festival and would like to see the photos I took there, please click either the “Photostream” or “Sets” link at the top of this page. If you view my Photostream, you SHOULD see the most recent photos I've uploaded which, depending on how busy I have been shooting events etc, could well be what you are looking for. If not, then view the "Sets" link and look for a set named after the event or in some similar fashion. If you STILL can't find what you are looking for, send me a message. I will be happy to help!

Hello Fellow Flickrites!

My name is Steven. I am a Photographer living in beautiful Phoenix, AZ. I have been here since 1978 and absolutely LOVE it here. The landscape is amazing, the sky is clear and blue most of the year, and the women are among the most beautiful anywhere in the world!

My main Flickr site is for my alternate persona: “Wilgar” which is where I have my “Fun/Personal” photos. I am working on breaking out my “Pro-Am” pics from the personal photos. So here I sit with another Flickr account. I am working on bringing images that qualify over from my other profile but it’s been slow going.

A little bit about my tastes in photography: I love viewing the innumerable styles of photography available here on Flickr, up to and including artistic nudes, but I have no interest in seeing porn. So, if that is what you have in your photo stream, PLEASE do not add me as your contact. I have been focusing on studio portraits and such of late, but will be branching out to other area’s of interest soon: Fashion, Glamour, Artistic Nude…anything that makes for interesting viewing really.

Back in June of 2007 I attended a Lighting-Essentials workshop offered by Don Giannatti (”WizWow”). It was AMAZING!!

I learned so much more in that one day than from all the books I had read! So, from time to time I will be trickling in more images from that day as I do the post production on them.

BTW: Don is a GREAT teacher of not only the fundamentals of lighting, but of Photoshop techniques as well! If you haven't looked up his profile yet, you would do well to do that next! (After leaving me some photo comments!! LOL!!)

If you enjoy the images you see in my photo stream(s), or even if you don’t, I would love to hear from you! I enjoy reading your comments & flickr-mail on anything you see in my stream!

However, I must let it be known that I will not tolerate rude or inappropriate comments on any photo in my stream. I am the final judge as to what comments are appropriate or not.

If your comments are in a language other than English and I am unable to translate it, I will likely delete the comment, and possibly block you from leaving more. It is an extremely rude thing to do to me.

Another rudeness that I will no longer tolerate are members who have inappropriate names, who have no profile or photos whom I don't know that add my images as "Fav's" and me as a contact...C'mon people. Get a clue. I am not here for that, and will no longer allow my images and profile to be used in this manner.
