I would call myself a novice photographer. I recently got a new camera, a Canon Powershot S3 IS, and I love it. I like to shoot scenery (landscapes and urban skylines, mostly), family/vacation photos, and figure skating photos.

All of my photos are copyrighted by me, and may only be used according to the terms of the applicable license.

Most of my photos have "all rights reserved" and are only for viewing. Some of my photos are licensed under a Creative Commons License requiring (among other things) that you give me credit for using my photos. For those cases, I have the following attribution requirements:

1) You must provide a clearly legible caption or note with the words "Photo by Kevin Rushforth" (or similar) on the same page as the photo, in a manner that makes the attribution obvious to anyone looking at the photo.

2) For electronic distribution (e.g., a web page, an e-mail, or other electronic transmission): You must provide a clickable link back to my original photo page.

3) For non-electronic distribution (e.g., a printed copy): The attribution of the photo must accompany the photo. It can be in a footnote as long as the attribution is obvious to anyone looking at the photo.

Note: if you see a photo of mine that you like, ask me and I might make it available under a CC license (if it is currently "all rights reserved") or I might be willing to license it for specific uses under other terms.
