I'm an engineer. at first i spent my time in front of a machine, the same machine for years. This drove me to travel, first to Australia in 2000 for 10 months, then onto SE Asia in 2001for another 6 months. After a short spell at home i started working in the merchant navy, combining travel and engineering. I sailed round the world twice and added more countries to my collection. Visiting South America, central America, far east and much of Europe. After another spell at home i met my girlfriend, who had a desire to travel. I left the merchant navy and joined her in 2006 for a 6 month trip back round SE Asia and onto China, Japan, Tibet and Nepal. I now spend most of my time exploring Scotland between work trips taking pictures as I go.
