Kevin Nicks came from the blue collar hard working steel mill city of Gary,Indiana. His father Eugene Nicks worked in the United States steel mill for close to twenty years.

 

His mother Penny Nicks was a naturel born talented gospel singer. She performed at their local church and performed gigs with The seven jew believes during the late 70's and early 80's. Music and stage work has always been apart of Kevin's life.

 

By 1985 Kevin was transplanted to north Dallas Texas living in the city of Plano Texas. His parents divorced in the mid 80's His mother struggled for a few years as a casher working the night shift to make ends meet.

 

Kevin started finding himself in music strumming out his thoughts and idea's on his Harmony star burst electric guitar with some new musician friends he met at his new school.

 

Rodney Harris, Scott Caster, Mike Scort, Billy Weaver, Kevin wrote a few songs but later found more into stand up humor. So he put the guitar down and reached for the Mic.

  

Kevin Nicks has been a comedian for over 18 years. Kevin has worked in comedy clubs accross america and hundreds of private and radio morning and evening shows thru the yrs.

Kevin is the wild child of comedy. His southern spin on comedy has made him a favorite in clubs and college campuses across the U.S.

  

Kevin Nicks haled from Gary,Indiana born October 3rd 1971. His childhood was a constant move to the south from age 13. He wound up living in a trailer park in Plano,Tx while dating a mixed Asian chick. Kevin gathered his life stories and went straight to the comedy stage and still frequents the spot light.

  

Kevin was selected in a world wide talent search where he auditioned in front of three panel judges and over 400 in the audiance. There were over 70,000 contestants and he was giving props from the Justin Brown Talent search agency located in Austin,Tx home based in La. Kevin was invited to appear on Talent Rock (The Fuse Tv Network) In Orlando, Flordia.

 

In late 2006 Kevin Nicks worked with Infinity Records on His Record Trailer Park Trash 2007 and was supported by The Miles Ahead Music LLC in 2007. Trailer Park Trash was mastered and released from studio C at the Austin To Boston recording studio by Mark Donovan.

 

Kevin Nicks was being Managed by Sondi Ross in 2008 for only a few months later that same year Jacked In Entertainment steped up and Kevin Nicks had a new manager Scott Huggins.

 

During mid 2008 Don Lokke added Kevin as one of Texas Featured Comedian artist at look up sites in Dallas Tx known as Dallas Comedy comedians.

 

Kevin Nicks worked with an Austin,Tx Film based company Twisted Stickman productions during 2008 and made several video's with Dennis Walsh. Later that same year Dennis Walsh opened up for Kevin at a few shows in Texas.

 

Kevin released his next cd Life in the trailer park November 18th 2008. This record hit store shelves November 20th 2008.

 

Kevin Nicks and Dennis Walsh shared their comedy talent with the Command, Staff, Soldiers, and Family members, at Fort Hood's Warrior Transition Unit, United States Military 04-15-2008

 

In 2008 November 19th and the 20th Kevin was apart of the Valley comedy tour in McAllen, South Padre Texas. Working with (aka) Romo - Comedian White Chocolate.

 

By 2009 Kevin once again hooked up with White Chocolate for five more comedy city dates San Angelo, San Antonio, Round Rock, Eastland, Ft Hood, Ft Worth,

 

Kevin Nicks performed with Comedian Eric Lokke, Chris Fonseca, Scorpio Rising, The Platforms at the Rubios Event center located in Austin,Tx.
