Art occurs everyday. A man spilling his coffee while crossing a road. A woman getting startled by the loud bark of a dog. That moment observed, that is art and photography is a testament to the occurrence.
Kevin’s work as a photographer focuses mainly on cultural and social themes. His craft employs a landscape and documentary photographic style, which includes editorial and gallery work. His interest lies in travel and cultural exploration, with an enthusiastic sense to document his experiences through his craft.
Initially aspiring to be a graphic designer, Kevin took up a diploma in Visual Communications in 2006, only to realise that his passion lies in photography.
Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography at RMIT University in Australia in 2014 and holds a Diploma in Visual Communications in Temasek Polytechnic Singapore which he attained in 2009. His work experience includes working for The Straits Times (SPH), The Shooting Gallery and Magazines Integrated Pte Ltd in Singapore. Furthermore, Kevin upkeeps collaborative projects with other creatives with a recent project ‘Tethered’ with Nigel Tan and Dylan Ang that was exhibited at Brunswick Street Gallery in Melbourne in 2015.
