I'm an amateur horn player and jazz pianist in my spare time. Also, I enjoy being an amateur photographer and train traveller. For work, I am an engineer for the UK's railways, but don't let this get in the way of my non-work! Never more happy than when I have a camera with me, even if I am working outside on the railway.

There is certainly a heavy public transportation theme to my photography, now somewhat tempered by being married, photographing her work and interests, and going places with my wife. We (my wife and I) are members of the National Trust, and I like photographing interesting architecture and art too.
