I do layout for a newspaper and am systems administrator for the company. I spend part of my day massaging other people's photos into workable art for the press and subscribers. It's a good thing we're all digital now. I was probably going to die of darkroom poisoning previously. Mmmm... I can still taste the Dektol and D76.
My photos are usually ones of opportunity rather than studio settings or portraits of models at this point. But I'm not ruling those areas out. My fellow flickrites are incredibly inspiring and there is a whole beautiful world to explore page by page by page.
Published work in :
- "Hello" magazine in the UK (have to go and find which issue it was... photo wasn't anything special though, story later)
- "Digital Art Photography For Dummies" by Matthew Bamberg, MA, (Wiley) 2006
- And of course in the newspapers I work for.
