I am currently shooting my photographs on a Canon EOS 600D. Before my digital camera I shot with a film camera Canon FT. Photography has been a quiet passion of mine since I was 15 years old. My grandfather was a photographer as well , with his dark room and old cameras.I used to spend hours with him while he worked.

I left South Africa in 1994 at the age of 15 and for 2 years I went from Australia to New Zealand and back to Australia. I had no friends my age and I did not attend school.Instead I took photos, Film was cheap and when you got one developed you got a free 24 exp with your prints.

When I went to high school here in Perth, I had the opportunity to study Photography for the last two years of high school. Never pursuing further study after that, i did however continue taking photos. With the evolution of technology when digital cameras became more and more available it only seemed natural to make the change.
