KERNEL constitutes a conceptual and participative platform that has the intention to encourage a dialogue, on the internet but also in physical space, on practices of management of information, of the designing process and of creativity.

KERNEL’s research subject is the design of a physical space in an open source-like way.

The involvement is realized through designing proposals about in-situ actions that take place in this constructed space and indicate its structure.

This is achieved by the processing of the initial idea-design (or by the processing of other participant’s designs) and by the submission of proposals for the construction and the actions that will accompany it through the forum
