Testimonials
blažena
With me, Ken is one of the most interesting photographers on Flickr.
Ken is an amazing photographer, he always creates lots of great photos.

It has been a long time since I first wanted to write a testimonial for Ken - who I do not know personally - but I never could find the proper words to express my interest in his photography. Ken has been, for me, one of the most interesting contributors to the Flickr universe I have seen to date. There are thousands of good photographers on Flickr, and tens that I personally like and follow. But what is amazing with Ken is the consistency of his tastes: everything is just so brilliant, interesting, simple. Each of his takes is a real ode to photography. His pictures are, to me, the complete opposite of vulgarity: they are not taken randomly, but still give a deep feeling of simplicity. They never feature flashy colours - all are mild, soft, complex. The tones are always well selected, and so are the compositions. On the other hand, Ken does not fall into a kind of easy and affected analog feel: everything always remains beautifully natural and strong. In one word, Ken is a matter of taste. He will not probably have the most eye-catching photographs on Flickr for some, but for others Ken keeps on showing an amazing talent and an acute sensibility. This is due to the fact that his photographs require, perhaps, more education and greater taste to be truly appreciated. For me, Ken is the perfect example of distinction and humbleness in photography powered by an incredible aesthetic sense. Julien Meunier Beijing, China - Tuesday, 20th July 2010
