Cameras
The first serious camera I owned was a Pentax K1000, along with the 40mm "pancake" lens. It seemed at the time to be large and heavy, so much so, that I bought a Pentax MX to replace it, followed by another one when the first one was stolen. In the early 1990s I switched to Nikon and bought an FM2, another manual camera and only switched to automatic, a Nikon FM3A, after I didn't get a photo of a steam locomotive in Poland because the shutter speed was wrong.
Since switching to digital, I've used a Nikon 3100, a Nikon D50, and a Canon EOS 60D. The latter, along with the MX, are the cameras I like the most I think.
Autumn 2019: I've now gone full-frame with a Canon 6D Mk II, paired with a 70-105mm F4 and, occasionally, an EF 40mm f2.8 - back to the future it seems.
Collections
As these seem to have partly disappeared in the redesign, here are some links to my collections:
Copyright
These photos are taken by me, and therefore belong to me. If asked I might allow them to be used elsewhere, and indeed have done so, but I consider it a courtesy to ask me before using it. If you don't ask don't expect anyone to have any sympathy if you're robbed.
