I try to get out and celebrate the natural world every day . . .
"*experimencing" with "lots of patience ... recognizing the
right place at the right time, but not necessarily for
the intended image" ...
*experimenting + experience = "experimencing"
I've been 'experimencing'(experience/experimenting) with photography for 20+ years now and am always amazed at just how much I don't know ... but it's soo much fun learning. I finally joined flickr and hope I can offer some inspiration in exchange for all that is being shared here.
I learned my art shooting slide film and on an extreme budget, where 'every shot counts'. I couldn't afford to bracket in the hopes of getting a keeper. I learned how to compose, expose and dispose(of 'bad' ideas) ... in camera. There has been a carry over effect now that I am shooting digital ... I still strive to get it right 'in camera' and do very little processing after fact.
Please, feel free to creatively criticize, as that is how I learn.
. . . Enjoy!
note to 'award givers', please, I do not like animated gifs, they are distracting, please do not post them as I will delete them. I also, as much as I appreciate the attention, do not have time for the 'post one/comment on x' invites ... nothing personal, but I don't have time to properly keep up to date with my contacts postings to think about taking the time to do all those extra comment'ings ... so, thanks, but no thanks.
note II, I I see also that I don't care for self promoting icons in comments either
(read, I'll delete them to keep the look simple, thanks for understanding).
and yes, photos are available for purchase, just send me a note with what you are interested in and I'll get back to you.

The man has more energy that my Yorkie and that's saying a lot :) He is a great contact and a wonderful talented guy. I've learned a lot from following his stream...not the least of which is how to build an igloo :)
