As Colorado’s 35th United States Senator in the 109th Congress, I worked to fulfill my pledge to "fight for Colorado’s land, water and people". I focused my efforts on promoting a strong national defense and homeland security, economic opportunity and security, revitalizing rural America and agriculture, health care access and affordability, energy independence, and protecting our land and water.
