I began to "get into" photography a couple of years ago after browsing through the photo sections on a couple of forums I frequent. I found myself discovering photo opportunities everywhere I went having been inspired by images posted by other members. I explored the limits of photoshop with my existing images, and camera phone, and quickly found myself wanting more from a "proper" camera. Finally, earlier this year I purchased my 400D and am currently enjoying exploring the limits it along with the kit lens. I hope to adorn it with an EF 50mm f/1.8 II, and an EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM in the not too distant future.

I appreciate more abstract photographs - close up macro shots, images of derelict/abandoned buildings, and interesting shots of skies and clouds. I also like night photography.

In addition to photography, I love music, good films, spending time with our friends, and learning new things.
