Who Am I?

My name is Kelsie DiPerna and I grew up in Southern California and have lived the majority of my adult life in Hawaii. I received a Bachelors of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in 2013, and have since managed a reforestation project in Madagascar, managed a sea turtle conservation project in Mexico, worked as a scuba Divemaster in Hawaii and Honduras, and worked as a waitress and a photographer to save money to travel. In recent years, I've decided to take my love for protecting nature, along with my deep passions for travel and photography, to create this platform for sharing the culmination of these.

Mission

My goal is to bring an eye to places off-the-beaten track. I love hiking, camping, diving, conservation science, music, alternative culture, and nature in all its grandeur. I am here to document these experiences at home and during my extensive travels, to educate, inspire, and share these passions with you.

Oh miss Kelsie. She is absolutly amazing, not just her but her pictures as well. A lovely companion to do photoshoots with. She always has so many ideas, even if they are crazy, and they always come out amazing! They just keep getting better!

I adore her portraits and absolutely LOVE her silhouette shots (have a look through her photostream and you'll see what I mean). As well as being an absolutely lovely person, Kelsie has a cracking eye for a great photograph. I adore her portraits and absolutely LOVE her silhouette shots (have a look through her photostream and you'll see what I mean). Her photography gets better and better every time I visit her stream, and you can tell it's not due to Photoshop and special effects - she has a great knack of taking a photo at just the right moment. I love seeing Kelsie's new uploads and I can't wait to see how her unique style develops over the next few years :-)
