Born in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, I left there at 16 to join the RAF. Served 12 years then left and trained as a registered mental nurse, I worked as a nurse with drug and alcohol users in North Yorkshire until I retired in 2013.

I've taken photos since being a child but over the past ten years have been more serious about it. I currently use a Canon EOS 5D Mk III.
