Kelly is a recognized veteran in the area of digital video whose most recent position was as Vice President Product Marketing at Siemen's Fixed Network Division whose annual revenues exceed £2.65 billion . Kelly joined Siemens after the acquisition of Seattle-based Myrio Corporation, whose middleware still represents the largest community of actual IPTV deployments. In 1995, Kelly joined RealNetworks - the pioneers of the Internet "digital media" industry and developers of the popular RealPlayer and Rhapsody music service. He managed business development for Europe, Middle East and Africa from Real's London offices and cultivated first contracts with leading multi-national corporations such as Duetsche Telekom, BBC, MTV Europe, British Telecom, Sonera, Nokia and others. With SPRY Inc. Kelly participated in the early evolution of the Web - the America Online Internet Division was formed with the acquisition of Seattle-based SPRY - an Internet software company responsible for Internet In A Box which became the world's first Internet software suite that allowed users to instantly connect to the Internet. Internet in a Box even preceeded Netscape and quickly became the best-selling consumer/internet software application on the market. CompuServe/AOL acquired SPRY in 1995 for $100 million.

Kelly founded RocketVox which emerged as a leading content provider for businesses and consumers in emerging media channels. It aggregated and distributed world-class video properties for use across the Internet and broadband services. RocketVox was eventually acquired by thePlatform and is now the leading developer of content management and publishing systems for rich content (e.g. streaming audio & video) (http://www.theplatform.com). The web-based application helps large organizations accelerate and streamline the deployment, management and use of media assets by eliminating technical complexity from each phase of the media publishing process. thePlatform powers several high profile video services including Verizon's V Cast service and Amp'd Mobile's forthcoming multimedia platform.
