2013 Atlantan Magazine "Women of Power & Influence" nominee Kelly Kirby came to Atlanta to visit 25 years ago and never went home. In her case, "home" was a small town in North Carolina, where she would spend her lunch money on cosmetics as a little girl.

Since then, Kelly has done just about everything one can hope to do in makeup. From owning her own beauty consulting firm, to working trade shows for Mirabella to freelancing as a style and beauty expert for media outlets like Jezebel Magazine and CBS Atlanta, Kirby Kelly has touched every facet of the makeup industry. Ms. Kirby also served as the founding Director of Education for Georgia's first and only state authorized makeup school and now mentors aspiring MUA in her private studio in Alpharetta, GA.
