One year ago I moved to an island with my family and knew one of the best ways to make the most of our time in this place was to pick up my camera and actually learn how to use it. I try to soak up the beautiful, brilliant images that you all post on flickr. Thank you for sharing such inspiring talent. Hopefully one day I'll be one of you :)

...time flies and we're no longer on that island. I owe so much to that experience because it gave me a wealth of pretty pictures and the passion to keep taking them no matter where we are.
