I have been friends with Theresa for a goodly amount of time here on flickr . The first time I viewed one of her images I was struck by how well she composes her shots. It was quickly apparent to me that here is a person that really loves the art of photography and puts a lot of passion into each and every shot she creates. :-) It has been my distinct pleasure to have got to know Theresa more as the days have gone by and from viewing her marvelous images. In a lot of ways we think so much alike.. both photographically and otherwise. It is also very nice that we both currently have the same cameras.. the Nikon D7000. In fact when I was deciding on what camera I wanted to upgrade to.. I sought the advice of Theresa and she gave me some wonderful information on the D7000. Well long story short.. I ended up getting that camera and I am so glad I did. Theresa steered me straight into a marvelous camera. :-) I love it. I am so blessed to have met Theresa.. she is not only a fabulous photographer but she is a fabulous person. Thank you Theresa for your friendship and for your sweet spirit... I am impressed with her open attitude to welcome good or bad comments, the trait of a seasoned photographer. Every new image that Theresa shows us is an art for which she also has an explanation why it is important for her, this is a wonderful combination of storytelling and photography. However, in my opinion, her work has gone from very nice pictures to professional quality photography. I first met Theresa in the fall of 2007, when this cheery bright young lady commented and offered a constructive suggestion on one of my photos. The level of photographic integrity Theresa had was evident, and her willingness to impart her knowledge so generously, to a total stranger, initially struck me. Since then I have always taken the time to view and learn from every photo Theresa provides us with. Her work is refreshing and captivating. Through her images, Theresa takes the viewer on a fascinating journey, in concert with her quest to document and display the beauty of all that’s around her. With her creative eye, Theresa so often takes the ordinary and creates an extraordinary piece of art that has a perspective unmatched.
