The shutter opens for just a fraction of a second....but the images captured are moments of my life that will last a lifetime. It is the way I see things, documented in photos, in my world. Moments captured are often unique and will never be exactly duplicated such as a sunrise or sunset with different colors and clouds. Some images shot are here today, gone tomorrow as is the case of old barns,houses or buildings. Some are of family and friends and memories with them that can be re-lived again and again, years and years from now. And some are of the beauty found all around us that we stop and take the time to actually enjoy. Photography is therapy....it is not only looking but seeing. It is food for thought and imagination. It is not only enjoying my world but enjoying the way in which others see theirs. Everyone has a different view of beauty. To some, it is on the surface and rightly so. Maybe to others, it is the intricate parts of an image that isnt so noticeable but the subtle tones that capture their eye. Still others may see it where you and I may not. At any rate, the definition of beauty is as vast as the stars in the heavens or sands on the beach and it is truly in the eye of the beholder.
