I have always had an interest in photography and started out with film and doing my own developing and processing before moving on to digital, but never really had the time (or the money) to fully explore it. As a result of unfortune and life changing events I now have more funds available and am still working on the time element.

I have developed a passion for photographing birds, wildlife and flowers, probably because I can do most of it in my garden and am lucky enough to have range of different landscapes nearby

Kit wise I have a Canon 7D Mk2, 5D MKIII, 1DX and a Canon EF 200-400 f4 with built in 1.4 converter, EF 300mm f2.8, 70-300 L series, a 100-400 L series, a EF-s 15-85 and a couple of other macro and wide angle Canon lenses plus some speedlites and lighting equipment.

I hope that one day I can turn to photography as my follow on career when I want to get off the tread mill, until then I will view the beauty that I see everyday through my photographic eye and think what a lovely photo it would make.
