Keith is an exceptional photographer. His work is a captivating blend of classical framing and modern processing. The end results are gorgeous pictures both intriguing and arresting. Take some time to look through Keith's photostream. Expect to find images that are strong and powerful yet easy on the eyes. Notice how his frame is always well seen and the geometry perfect. His post processing is clean and unobtrusive, enhancing the images just enough without making his work gimmicky. Keith is also one of the most thoughtful commentators of other peoples work... no one word comments, he actually takes the time to critique in a way that helps you grow and see your own work in a different light. When one looks at his images it is evident that Keith is a master craftsman. He seems to intuitively understand what elements are needed to make an image beautiful and then he executes meticulously. His photographic eye is unique, and he is able to present his work to viewers with images that have a distinctive eye catching style. Of the work I have seen one of Keith’s real strengths is working with ultra-wide angle lenses. Although he is an old school photographer Keith has made the transition from film to digital photography seamlessly. His post processing with photo editing software is a joy to the eye. Very few photographers I know can work with sky and clouds like Keith can. In a word his skies are ‘fabulous’ and are a trademark of his photographic work. Keith has provided me and others on Flickr with a wonderful guided tour of the English countryside and landscape – urban and rural—around Kent. I’m anxious to re-visit the area and to meet Keith in person. My only regret is that Keith does not post as many images as I would like to see from him but what he does produce is always of the highest quality.
