On 7th May 2009, I was gifted a Pro account by Tony!! Yay!!!!

I'm 21 19 and a half (and aging everyday). I think I ought to enjoy it while it lasts.

I got into photography in 2007 when my dad gifted me a point-and-shoot (Sony DSC-W35) on my birthday (11th of June, just so you know). Its a bit of a family tradition apparently. My grandfather had gifted my father a camera when he turned 17 (yeah, I know, I turned 18 in '07, but still). Now my dad's looking to buy a DSLR. For himself.

Photography is probably the hobby I take the most seriously. I've dappled in stamp-collecting, coin-collecting, tazo-collecting, barbie doll-collecting. I've even collected snake skins. Well, just once, when I found a couple in Cherrapunji. Then, my hobbies also include cooking, watching TV, and reading. Yeah, reading tops the list. I'd put reading over photography.

I also blog, tweet, etc. I deactivated my facebook account when both my parents made their accounts. But I have a feeling I might go back there.

I live in New Delhi, which should be pretty obvious. I've also lived in Meghalaya, a state in India, famous for Cherrapunji and its oranges. I still go back to Shillong for the summer vacations. Shillong is supposed to be the Rock Capital of India. I don't know if its bizare or not, but I never ever liked rock music until February 2009.

I'm a student of Physics and I've always wondered why. I guess its just one of those things in life that happens. I do have a couple of photos from the Physics lab to prove it, though.

I'm not sure where I'm going in life. But I'll probably just check my email next.
