I was born and raised in Seattle, WA, USA, and am now married to a Japanese and living in Tokyo. I have also lived in Kyoto, Japan, Rochester, NY, and Sungnam, S Korea. My oldest son lives in Pittsburgh, PA, my youngest son is in university in Seattle, and my sister lives in Boise, Idaho, so I try to spend time in those places every summer if I can.
