I am a visual artist and writer: my web page has links to my writing and this site contains my visual art portfolio as well as other photos. My art is comprised of paintings, sculptures, conceptual art, installation, mixed media work, and photography. I consider many of the photographs of the art to be actual pieces themselves: in some cases the actual "art piece" no longer exists. This is in the spirit of, say, video-taping art-making in progress or photographing a model that you have constructed of your studio.

I studied art and art theory and history at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and at Kings College in London. I have been in group and individual shows in Ohio and San Francisco. I have been making art professionally for sixteen years. I currently live and work in San Francisco.
