I met Ken Davis through this platform maybe two years ago at the time I'm writing this. Out of all the people I've scrolled through on Flickr, no one is better at writing short economical comments than Ken. Not only is he a great photographer in his own right, but he has an eye for great images within this site. Which makes me think that Ken should to be in charge of Flickr's Explore page because the photos on Explore feel very generic and repetitive. Me getting a comment from Ken on one of my photos was like getting a 'Seal of Approval' that this is a good photograph. What I learned from him was not to only enjoy taking photographs but to admire other photographers and making an honest and sincere comment if it left an impression on you. I'm still haven't been wrung completely out of my immaturity but Ken has made me a little more mature when it comes my photographs and praising others rather than carrying envy.
