My degree is in Archaeology. I've been out of the field for a few years, but I still have an affinity for the ancient and abandoned. I've recently rediscovered my love for photography, after years of doing digital photo restoration as a hobby. I had a ah-ha moment one day, when I discovered I could translate many of the re-touch techniques to my own photos. My favorite subjects are the vanishing rural landscapes, and decaying structures of the South. They have a practical beauty that is becoming more and more rare.
