I have no desire to make a living with my camera. I fear that once money is involved, I will loose the incredible enjoyment that photograhy brings to my life. When I carry my camera, I tend to look around and pay more attention to the world around me. A ray of light, a tiny bug on a leaf, the smile lines on an old man's face. I live in a beautiful country, and specifically my beautiful, picturesque state of Michigan! Quite honestly, during trying times in my life, my photography hobby has been a rock to cling to when all around has cast me adrift. I feel more at peace out taking photos than anything else I do in my life.
