I love taking photographs, puzzling over which of my shots I or others like best, and looking at what other people have captured. My favorite photos are those that take me away by carrying my eye in, and beyond, giving me a moment of solitude and reflection. In “real life” I most often discover those moments while hiking, being near the ocean, gazing outdoors through windows, or pausing anywhere I can, to look up at the sky. The views are what free me.

That's about the photos I take when I have time. When I don't, I look for the quirky or ironic, even within my current journey with someone with cancer.
