I am a Staff nurse working in York. In 2011, after 14 years living in Surrey, I returned home to North Yorkshire where I grew up.

I am a member of York Camera Club and I'm also involved with photography in the theatre which can be a challenge. I change my mind frequently about what kind of photography is my favourite - but I'm always learning. Now I know the 'rules; I try to break them and experiment with different settings.

I became a proud 'Nan' in 2010 and again in 2016 and encourage friends and family to visit my site as I try to document subtle (and not so subtle) changes as my amazing grandchildren grow up.
