Multi-passionate Freedom Fighter

K. Nicole Johnson grew up in Jamaica with 2 brothers and 1 sister and parents who owned their own business.

As far back as she can remember, her mother always told her that she was born to teach. She remembers as a child teaching her dolls, her teddy bears, the trees and flowers in her yard – she taught anything and anyone that she could gets her hands on.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science and a MSc (with Distinction) in Management and Finance. She is also a trained Further and Adult Education Teacher.

She has taught Mathematics up to the advanced level. She has also worked in the community as a:

Teacher of Basic Skills (Literacy, Numeracy and Computer Skills);

Mentor;

Student Support Officer; and

Business Development Manager.

Her experience also includes working in the actuarial pensions industry.

After years of corporate life, she realized that there has always been a calling on her life – and yes, her mother was right – she was born to teach. After owning this, she started reaching out to her family and friends teaching and sharing her knowledge, experience and life lessons learnt.

She continues to be a source of inspiration and encouragement to those who come in contact with her. She teaches others to “dare to believe in the power of you – with God, all things are possible”.

She continues to encourage, educate, motivate and inspire as she believes that education is the pathway to freedom.
