29, IA ▪️I read. A lot. Mirrors are my kink. Studying to become a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, hopefully, eventually, on to a become dual-diagnosis therapist. I’m a journalist - like, I have over 100 journals I’ve written in. I don’t dress or act my age. I have 26? tattoos so far. I grew up in the Midwest but the Southwest is like a magnetic force, slowly pulling me towards it. I fucking love smoothies.

▪️ photography is my creative passion. I need to stress: THIS IS MY PASSION.

▪️ I was recently gifted my first film camera, a Pentax K1000.

At heart, I'm a Nikon girl. I own a D3300 (so far) and I love it.

I also own a Instax Square SQ6 and Fujifilm instax mini 11, a Canon Rebel 2000 EOS, and the most recent a Yashica autofocus S point and shoot. Can’t forget to mention the point-and-shoots that got us all here today, those Nikon Coolpixs and Canon PowerShot, etc. 😉

▪️ What I look forward to the most is getting the hang of night photography and developing more skills - especially photoshop, even though I despise overly edited photos and will probably scarcely use photoshop myself - and developing and finding out what my own style really is.

▪️ I take photos of whatever inspires me,

or is simply interesting, and I’ll yell “PHOTO OPP.”

I really do yell that a lot.
