I am a photographer and obsessive light hunter based in Truckee, California. I was born on the island of Lana`i in Hawai`i, and I have a professional and academic background in volcanic hazards, GIS, and cartography. If I'm not taking pictures or making timelapses, I'm probably skiing, welding/making art, working on my old Jeep, or listening to music. I've lived in Hawai`i, Colorado, Oregon, Pennsylvania, New Zealand, and now in California. Above all things though, I love to travel and ski at Squaw Valley and in the surrounding backcountry.
