I love food, and I love cooking! I try to make pictures of as many things I cook and eat as I can! I have studied Chinese and spent a considerable time in China (student for 1 year, then about 15 visits since), where I traveled extensively and tried out many dishes!

On Flickr, my most popular photos are the photos taken in China in the 1980s. I have scanned my color slides of China, made in 1983 - 1984. I have about 1500 slides of Xi'an, Shenyang, Chengde, Beijing, Harbin, Fushun, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guilin, Luoyang, Quanzhou, Fuzhou, Guangzhou and Hongkong. And probably many more places. Most slides are from Manchuria (Dongbei) where I studied for one year. Please add comments and questions, I'll be happy to answer you.
