Not only does Kathy have a keen eye for London life (and its old fashioned buildings especially) but she is also a talented painter and image processor. More important than that is that she's a lovely kind-hearted person that gives much more to the flickr community than she is given credit for. She'd be sorely missed by all if she ever left. BK seems to be one of those people that has more than her fair share of bad luck, but never sounds bitter about it. Many a time, Kathy has lifted my spirits with her words and pictures. In appreciation of this, I might organise a whip round in order to buy her a lifetime's supply of rum and an inflatable cowboy.

I have to say that Kathy, the buckaroo kid, is without a doubt one of the most talented photographers I've seen on flickr and is a true artist in every sense; her paintings of historical & musical icons, et al., are absolute masterpieces. I feel as if I've seen more of London than those who've actually taken a tourist trip...such is her gift for making photographs tangible. Kathy is really one of the first people who would visit my lil' photostream daily when I first began my foray into flickrdom...with nothing but the kindest and most supportive comments (they really alleviated my insecurities about my works!) and introduced me to other wonderful people who are now contacts and friends.
