I’m running for Congress because we can do the same thing in Washington that we’ve done in Erie County – cut waste, hold down taxes, and help Western New York businesses create jobs for hard working families.

I’ve had the opportunity to help new businesses grow and succeed – cutting bureaucratic red tape and providing the right resources. I believe that business is the backbone of our economy; they help create jobs and will help get our economy moving once again.

It’s time to elect leaders in Washington who will fight to keep our jobs and our families here. It’s time to support our hard working class families and ensure we maintain a strong middle class.

I was born and raised in Erie County. My parents began our family in a trailer, in the shadow of the Bethlehem Steel Plant. My father worked at the plant, then decided to go back to school and started working for a small technology company that he helped grow to over 3,200 employees. My mother started her own small business that is still open today.

They taught me how essential businesses are to creating jobs. And that’s what I want to make this campaign about – helping Western New York businesses grow and create good paying jobs right here.

I know firsthand the struggles that businesses experience and, more importantly, I know how critical a good job is to an American family. I have always fought for you in the past, and, with your support, I will take that fight to Washington.
