Hello!

My name is Kathy and I live in Alabama. I have always loved photography but have only just recently (8/30/06)purchased my very first digital camera! It is a Sony DSC-H5 and I LOVE it so far! I have a lot to learn to really be able to utilize this camera but I hope with time I will get better at this!

I mostly prefer to photograph nature. Nature is so wonderful and amazing and I never get bored with it! I love trying to capture insects close up! I also love photographing flowers, animals and landscapes - among other things.

I think Flickr is a wonderful site and I've enjoyed meeting so many people from around there world!

***About JAKE! Jake is my Black Labrador Retriver. He is probably mixed with a smaller dog but his personality is ALL LAB! He came to us on December 1,2006 at about 4 1/2 months old. He was abandoned near our home. He was starving and roaming the streets. We gave him something to eat. The next day the little guy was asleep at our back door.... and the rest is history. Jake has really stolen my heart and has become my best little buddy. He is so sweet and silly and crazy!! He loves to play fetch - well, he IS a retreiver!! He also loves to roam around in the woods exploring. Most of all he just loves to be the center of attention. I'm so happy this special pup found his way to us!
