I am American but really my roots are Irish/English/Vietnamese/French/Japanese.

I love art and I love photography. I'm taking Art Higher in my IB course at school... I don't show any of my teachers my photos as I think the course requirements for photography are fairly high... Right?

I'm generally outgoing, I suppose haha! Although I'm never sure of myself and I don't really know what I'm good at... I know that most of my photography is extremely simple but... I'm working on it!

I'm inspired by what moves me. For me its the lines or angles of a person's face, the hardened look or an innocent child. I love macro and I love b&w pictures!!!!!

I tried starting out with colour though... Hihihihi.

In her July 2010 portrait series, she manages to get her models to look sexy without being trashy. Moreover, this collection of photos also show us the artiste within her: the tattoos on the models are exquisitely drawn and are testament enough to her talent. And who could forget the simply gorgeous "origami" set, which at once shows us her great abilities as a "people photographer" but also reveals her talents as an artist, having hand-crafted the lovely origami flower. In the other "non-people" areas of photography, Kat also shines. From a stunner of a lotus flower to a mouth-watering (for a photographer) photo of a lake in Hawai'i, to her more surreptitious shots of people leaning against walls, any viewer can see that she is a truly talented young woman and photographer! Chapeau.
