Australian wildlife and landscape photography.

My name is Kathie M. Thomas. Since my teenage years I’ve always enjoyed photography with a leaning towards landscapes, wildlife, flora, birdlife, and pets. My husband is a mountain biker so I do occasional MTB races and other sporting events too.

Photography has allowed me to capture a moment in time and then explore it in its greatest detail on my computer. It's allowed me to bring home a piece of what I've seen and experienced when out and about in this beautiful country of ours - and other countries when I go travelling.

Photography isn't just about taking photos, it's about building experiences and reliving those experiences over and again.

My husband and I live in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges in Victoria, Australia and many photos you find on this site will have been taken in my own backyard or nearby.

I use a Nikon D7000, D7100 and P950 with 18-55mm, 35mm, 55-200mm, 70-300mm, 200-500mm and 60mm lenses. The P950 has up to 2000mm capability.
