My name is Kate Monster

I'm am currently attending BCC, and I will be transferring next year to Kane University. I will be getting my doctorate in Special Education. I plan on teaching integrated Kindergarten classes, because I believe that special needs children will never learn anything by being with children just like themselves, just like we would never learn anything if we were around people that acted exactly like us every single day.

I'm a very outgoing person. I am very obnoxious, but very fun. I always say what is on my mind, no matter what. I am very abrasive, and usually get what I want (not always a bad thing). I love my friends, they mean everything to me.

I do not believe in a God, but I will not hate you for believing in one. I believe in rebirth, not death.My best friend in the entire world was killed in a car accident about a year ago now. I always enforce the seat belt rule. Too cool for seat belts? Too cool for my car. I miss her with all my heart.

Taking pictures is my sanctuary. It is like a vacation every time i look into the lens. I just recently bought a Canon Rebel XTi, and I am head over heals (no exaggeration). I am a very crafty person... well, I like to think I am... and other people have said it too so shut it =). I understand that the beauty of nature is the rarest beauty all in itself, so i don't use photoshop on any of my pictures unless it's just fiddling with brushes or different colors or textures.
