I'm a beginner photographer who is just beginning to understand the basics. I'm smitten with photography and am making do with an adjustable point-and-shoot canon until I can save up for a dslr (I'm thinking to get a Canon Rebel XTi at this point but the Nikon D40 is also good and a bit more affordable).

Some of my photos may lean towards the macabre but they'll always remain PG. My idea of horror and macabre goes back to films from well before I was born, ranging from silent films up to the 60's. You won't see blood or gore because that isn't my style. Some of my work may be disturbing in its own right, though. It's all about taste.

I have a lot of other work that ranges from common still life subjects (mostly used as practice as I figure out this art form) to basic to quirky portraiture. I use myself as model a lot for the simple reason that I have absolutely no life and my friends do. I need models. Please come be one for me. I will pay you in diet coke and gratuitous compliments. I hear models like that sort of thing.
