Most likely I can say I'm 'new' to this hobby, although I've admired photographs for a long time and prided myself on taking less haphazard P&S pictures before I got my DSLR.

But I can definitely say that I love photography and it's kinda neat to be pretty good at something for once (or at least that's what people tell me). :) I've really fallen in love with everything this art medium has to offer, and it's really given my brain a new start after four years of nursing school!

I'm took a couple photography classes to get a good basis of things, and I'm thinking of new ideas for projects in the mean time.

Currently living it up in Mongolia with the Peace Corps... hopefully some good photographs will come out of this experience as well!
