Biography:

Kat O'Connor has been learning and making fine-art photography since the early days of the millenium. She has always had a tendency to exist on the fringes of life (although she occasionally disguises it well). But it has been only in recent years that she's found her visual "voice" as a documentarian of those twilight places: the joy, the pain, the strength, the beauty. She aims to see and to share that which is overlooked, denied, or hidden in plain sight. While the view from the edge may be different, the journey is largely the same.

I specialize in distinctive portraiture that captures the unguarded moments when you are the most comfortable in your own skin. I strive to tell your story, to show your experience, to reveal the true you.
