KASUGA is an interdisciplinary studio, active in the field of design, technology and art.

 

The spectrum of the studio’s work ranges from audio-visual installations for and with spaces, physical objects, graphic and interaction design, specialized software solutions and interactive media experiences. Besides developing projects for industry and enterprise needs, the studio initiates and realizes contemporary media art pieces.

 

KASUGA collectively works with specialists from the disciplines of design, engineering, sound, computer science, programming, architecture and 3D/CGI.

 

Among others, the work of the studio was exhibited at the Center for Art and Media (ZKM) in Karlsruhe (Germany), the 57th Venice Biennale (Antarctic Pavilion) in Venice (Italy), the National Art Center Tokyo (Japan), at ISEA2017 in Manizales (Colombia), the OpenArt Biennale in Örebro (Sweden), at Galerie Mazzoli in Berlin (Germany), at FILE in São Paulo (Brazil) and won the Excellence Award at the 19th Japan Media and Arts Festival (Japan), the Premio Celeste Art Prize (Italy), the Webby Award (USA) and the German Design Award (Germany).
