Technical information and equipment

All photos were made with either Nikon DSLRs (D5100, D600, or D810) or a cell phone (in the case of Instagrams) . I use a wide variety of lenses: Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR, Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED, Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II, Nikkor AF-S 35mm f/1.4G, Nikkor AI-S 50mm f/1.2, Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.4G, Nikkor AF-S 85mm f/1.8G, and Micro-Nikkor AF-S 105mm VR f/2.8G. As far as image processing goes, I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

Ballet and Dance Photography

I am the photographer for the Charlottesville Ballet, a professional ballet company based in Charlottesville, Virginia. The majority of the dance photography I post here features artists from Charlottesville Ballet.

The Cville People Project

The Cville People Project is a documentary photography project, the goal of which is to depict the city of Charlottesville through its inhabitants.
