I'm a native Atlantan and lifelong resident of the Cascade Community. I was educated in Fulton County's public schools where I graduated from Utoy Springs Elementary School and Westwood (now Westlake) High School, and went on to graduate from Howard University with both my undergraduate and law degrees. Currently, I am a Partner with Holland & Knight LLP and serve my constiuents as State Senator for District 35.

I have a passion to serve the citizens of Atlanta. Being Mayor is my opportunity to give back to my hometown community. I want to hear from everyone ...Together, with your opinions and voices, we can continuing building Atlanta as a great city with an enhanced educational system, improved transportation modes, and safe communities for our families.
