The people called me Muhammad Kashif Ali, born and grown up in Lahore (the most cultural & festive city of Pakistan), Pakistan. Life is blessing to me as I earned much from it. Life gave me a blissful family, Masters Degree and then it gave me degree of M.phil (enrolled in PhD) in the cultural history of my land; Pakistan.
My research project was ‘Cultural Transitions in the Kalasha Valleys (1947 to 2007)’ , my thesis projects the cultural changes in the Kalasha society, and in fact it is modern cultural and anthropological history of the Kalasha tribe. The Kalasha tribe is the sole pagan tribe of Pakistan. Once they ruled whole Chitral but now their numerical strength is about 4000 only.
I started traveling my land back in 1995 when I was student of Matriculation and so far I have traveled some 40,000 kilometers throughout Pakistan. I think I have restless soul which always pushes me to valleys, jungles, mountains, rivers, lakes etc., and I have to follow it.
In 1995 traveling was my passion not photography although I had film camera, and now traveling is again my passion but without camera, sometimes, I deny to hang out.
I am interested in:
Traveling
Photography
Reading
Composing poetry in Urdu
Research (Cultural heritage of Pakistan)
Social Networking & Friendship
Profession

By profession I am a teacher.
Thanks for paying a visit to my photostream and profile.

But what mostly admires in the releases of Kashif, it is the whole sensibility that this man has towards the earth and of the nature, and this job of his is admirable... mi piacciono molto le foto di Kashif, perchè oltre ad essere tanto belle, danno a me la possibilità di vedere luoghi tanto lontani da me. Ma cio che ammiro maggiormente negli scatti di Kashif, è tutta la sensibilità che questo uomo ha nei confronti della terra e della natura, e questo suo lavoro è ammirevole...

Skimming through Kashif's photos, there are always some details present: the nature, the traditions of his Country, love, his very sensitive soul. Through his eyes, Kashif makes us know his world, outside and inside, because his works are not only "images", very beautiful, full of life and bright colors, but they're the way to let us share about his great sensibility, love for the nature, for his Country and its traditions, for his family, for his friends. Through them, we -friends all around the world- succeed in knowing him in the transparency and in the sensibility of his soul. Take the time to discover him, Kashif is really worth of this!
