Hi!

I'm a hobby photographer from Germany. Currently I am studying Computer Engineering at the "RWTH Aachen".

If you want to know what I use for my photos:

* EOS 350D, EOS 3000 (the oldest 3000 model, no V or X)

* Cosina 19-35mm 1:3.5-4.5 wide angle zoom

* Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 DL macro super zoom

* Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 II (fixed length)

* self made cable shutter release

* shaky video tripod

* Hama N4 closeup lens for the EF 50.

* new:Canon 430EX speedlite

* new:Lee Filters 204/285 for flash

* Canon D2400UF scanner

* Photoshop 6

My first camera was a no name 110 film cartridge camera. Later I had a Vivitar 100 point and shoot zoom camera (35mm) which produced some quite good results.

I started with digital with a Canon A20 which I later sold at Ebay for the same price as a new A40 (which I bought then). The A40 at least supported a manual mode - but only two f-stops.

Disappointed with the unflexibility of the digital point and shoot cameras I additionaly started to experiment with analog SLR camera (the EOS 3000 which I got quite cheap).

Now - with DSLRs getting cheaper and catching up with analog sharpness (at least what you can get from lenses that I can afford) I decided to jump on the digital wagon with a 350D.

So now I can share my results with you - without any hassle - and learn from your critique ;)
