I am an amateur photographer living in Oslo, Norway. Photography has been a hobby almost all my life. It actually started in the darkroom developing B&W photos in the 70`s. I am self trained and believe it or not - I am learning something new every day.

I went digital in 1999 and my first digital camera was a Nikon Coolpix 950. In 2004 after a few thousand photos the 950 was replaced by my first DSLR - Nikon D70. My present camera is a Nikon D300 (since January 2008).

My job within a Norwegian/UK company, working internationally, gives me great opportunities of seeing a lot of interesting places around the world. Even with quite extensive job traveling, whenever the time allows, my wife and I travels to new destinations. And I never leave home for any of my trips without bringing the camera.
